We are no longer accepting applications for scholarships for this year.
United Bay Community Credit Union will provide $500 scholarships to selected high school seniors who are pursuing a post-secondary education. Any high school senior who meets the eligibility criteria is welcome to apply.
Eligibility
Eligibility criteria include:
- Membership at United Bay Community Credit Union as of January 1, 2024.
- Plans to attend any post-secondary education institution. Eligible education institutions include universities, colleges, technical schools, trade and vocational institutions. A letter of acceptance from the educational institution is required. The letter may be submitted with the application or at a later date.
- A high school GPA of a 3.0 or better.
- A written essay on the importance of having good credit. The essay should be a minimum of 75 words and no more than 150.
Ubay employees and board members and their immediate family members are not eligible
