There is no minimum deposit or fee to open and maintain a UBCCU checking account. 

Checks can be ordered through UBCCU. Prices vary based on style of check. Primary members age 62 and older who are retired with their social security or pension direct deposited qualify for one (1) free box of checks per calendar year.
